Today, the Department of Labor issued its annual report to Congress on self-insured employer-sponsored health plans.  The DOL compiled the information from Form 5500 and related filings, but admitted that information is limited due to the limited reporting required by self-insured plans (especially those for which an exception applies).  Could expanded reporting requirements be on the horizon?
